Heavy rain expected in Munger and Purnia
Here, in Patna also the cold wind has provided relief from the heat. The sky is cloudy. According to the Meteorological Department, the maximum impact of the cyclone can be seen in the southern and eastern parts of Bihar. Therefore, rain alert has been issued in 24 districts of the state. There are chances of heavy rain in Munger and Purnia. There are chances of light rain in Patna, Nalanda and surrounding districts.
Boat operations have been banned
Here, in view of Dana cyclone, Bihar Disaster Management Department has issued a letter to the Circle Officers of all the districts. Operation of boats has been banned in all major rivers including Ganga. Health centers have also been put on alert mode. Whereas Patna, Bhagalpur, Banka, Jamui, Munger, Khagaria, Kishanganj, Purnia, Araria, Supaul, Saharsa, Lakhisarai, Begusarai, Nawada, Sheikhpura, Gaya, Jehanabad, Nalanda, Aurangabad, Arwal, Bhojpur, Buxar, Rohtas and Kaimur are facing heavy rains. There are chances. There is a possibility of light to moderate rain at one or two places in these areas. Apart from this, heavy rain may occur at some places. During this period, there is a possibility of wind blowing at a speed of 10 to 20 km per hour.
